How can we train ourselves to see the extraordinary in the everyday?
FOUND is an entire magazine devoted to Found objects! If we open our eyes and pay attention to our world, we see that there are objects of beauty and interest everywhere. In this week long workshop, students train themselves to observe the world carefully by watching for interesting gestures, listening for interesting sounds, and looking for interesting shapes, colors, and textures. By the end of the week, students learn movement, visual art, and writing skills to create sets of abstract photographs, found object sculptures, found movement dances, and found dialog stories.
